Responsibilities: As a Sign Painter at Fusion Sign & Design, you will play a crucial role in our fabrication team. Responsibilities include:
- Execute high-quality paint applications on various materials, including steel, wood, plexiglass, and aluminum.
- Utilize the Matthews Paint System (or similar) to achieve precise and consistent finishes.
- Work with textured finishes to meet project specifications.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and working comps to ensure accurate execution of paint applications.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and a “Can-Do” attitude, even under tight deadlines and stressful situations.
- Collaborate effectively within our positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience with the Matthews Paint System (or similar) is required.
- Display pride in workmanship and a determination to complete projects successfully.
- Ability to represent Fusion Sign & Design in a professional manner with integrity.
- Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of paint applications.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Scheduling flexibility, including the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Experience in the sign industry or industrial painting is preferred.
** This position requires experience with Matthews Paint System and is not necessarily for a creative painter doing custom, one-of-a-kind type of work. Ideal candidate will have experience painting signs, cars, or some other type of industrial painting.
