Entry Monument, Wayfinder & Directional, and Amenity & Park Signs

Polo Brown Company specializes in developing and constructing properties in Colorado and the greater Palm Springs area, California. They work for multi-use, multi-family, and site-specific build projects.
Project Name: Willow Springs Ranch
Willow Springs Ranch is a new build development, 214-acre residential master plan located in Monument, CO. Aspen View Homes, Dr. Horton, Richmond American Homes, and more will begin building in the master plan in 2022. The plan also consists of Little Beavers Park for ages 12 and under and Teachout Creek Park for older kids.
Project Location: Monument, CO
Willow Springs Ranch features 100+ acres of protected wildlife habitat, open space, ponds, creeks trails, and a community garden. It is just minutes away from Monument’s historic downtown and Monument Lake, which offers camping, fishing, and hiking.
Types of Signage Used on the Project:
Exterior Signage:
- Directional Wayfinders: As part of the master plan, wayfinding directional signs will point traffic to specific builders, amenities, parks, trails, etc.
- Amenity/Park Signs: The trails and parks signs will identify the future parks and trails that will make this protected wildlife community special! Using stock images on the signs, future homeowners can see what amenities will be offered in the community.
- Entry Monument Sign: The large monument is the first sign prospective homeowners will see when entering the community. The monument has the Polo Brown Company logo, name, and brand colors. The master plans tagline is on the sign: “Minutes from your front door,” which is such an inviting tagline- it had to be included on the sign! The sign encapsulates the significance of the community.
A Unique Challenge:
The first time Fusion Sign met and worked with this client was in March of 2020. They were a cash walk-in customer wanting some simple aluminum signage. As our account manager continued to nurture and grow the relationship, the discussion of this project came up. Although the client was initially concerned about Fusion Sign’s ability to produce and fabricate a complete signage solution for this masterplan, we won their trust and business after reviewing our proposal. The client was confident that we could deliver what they needed for wayfinders.
